Teens Rising Empowerment Programs™ are psychoeducational programs that empower teenage girls and gender-expansive teens to empower themselves. I offer a safe and inclusive space where I teach tools and practices that foster self-acceptance, self-compassion, connection, and healthy relationships so teens can live authentically and thrive.

My name is Dawn K. Gibson, LCSW and I’m an experienced trauma psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas and Colorado.
I have 25 years of extensive experience in the mental health field and in working with hundreds of teens and adults in various settings. I created the Teens Rising Empowerment Programs™ out of my passion for helping teens gain a deeper understanding of who they are, begin to heal, grow, and accept themselves so they can become adults who thrive.

I facilitate groups and offer private psychotherapy to teen girls (cis and trans), gender-expansive teens, young women in their twenties, and parents of teens with eating disorders or disordered eating (visit dawnkgibsondotcom to learn more).

I work in person in Fort Collins, CO, and online for those residing anywhere in Texas and Colorado

I work through an anti-oppressive, equitable, social justice, anti-racism, feminist, and body and fat liberation lens.
I actively engage in my own personal growth work in an effort to do no harm to clients and marginalized communities. I am always learning and growing.

Please contact me (Dawn) directly for your free 20-minute phone consultation to see how I can support you or your teen at nine seven zero-five four one-eleven nine zero or infoatdawnkgibson.com.

I have just returned from my hiatus and I’m currently accepting clients!
